Painting under pressure

I just want to applaud a couple members of our staff here at Oceans Bridge, artists Martine and Jim who twice stayed up with me until 2:00 A.M. last week to finish up a big order for one of our Interior Design clients. The deadline was tight but because of their hard work and dedication we were able to get the pieces into the drying room and then on to the client in time. Needless to say we all took the next morning off!

Actually, we do everything we can to avoid working long shifts, as it becomes more and more difficult for the artists to concentrate, but if we have to, we will. Earlier this summer we had to work 24 hours straight to meet one deadline. Not my favorite way to spend a Friday night, believe me, but if the client requires it we like to think they can rely on us to meet the target.
