Portraits from the BP portrait competition on display until September 14th.

The grand prize this year of the world’s most prestigious portrait competition, the BP annual portrait competition, received £25,000 pounds as well as a commission at the National Portrait Gallery Trustees’ discretion, worth £4,000.

The lucky and very talented Craig Wylie, a 35 year old London artist took home first place prize for his portrait titled “K” of his girlfriend Katherine Raw.  Second place was scooped up by Simon Davis who will take home £8,000 and third place for £6,000 was awarded to Robert O’Brien.

The 55 works from the competition will be on display at the Wolfson Gallery until September 14th.
