UFOs in art?

There are a number of websites out there that show some very odd, alien-looking objects in history. From the famous futuristic Egyptian carvings to flying saucers depicted on coins, they provide food for thought and, for some, “proof” that we have been visited by extra terrestrials for quite some time.

Lookalikes

You know Gene Simmons from Kiss (and last year’s Celebrity Apprentice)? This magistrate painted in the 17th century had “the hair” WAY before Gene! The painting below was by Hyacinthe Francois Rigau y Ros, also known as Hyacinthe Rigaud, and is titled “Portrait of a Magistrate”.
